What We Read...

In anticipation of El Dorado's One Book, One Community event next spring, we read the chosen novel, Touching Spirit Bear, by Ben Mikaelsen. The story of the main character, Cole, and his struggles was one to which each member of our class could relate. Our first reading experience was such a positive one, that we voted on a second selection. Walter Dean Myers', Fallen Angels, drew us into the harsh reality of war...particularly the Vietnam War.
